Hicountry Offroad Bumpers Updated Pictures

Got some bumpers in the makes....

Finished up the front D1. Pictures are with a quick coat of primer mounted on the shop truck. Skid plate, two light tabs, and 03-04 D2 headlight washers available. Bull bar design up in the air, but not started yet. All mounting steel, and winch plate is 1/4 plate. Both wings are 3/16 plate.

Rear bumper is finished, and for sale. Its super strong, and theres videos of the strength on the website. Got to get a new motor for the lathe to finish the tire carrier, but its almost done, and looking great.

Be wanting to do a trail ride to get some action shots, but we got alot of snow this year. Will have quality pictures Saturday, with final paint of detailed shots.

Bumpers are up in the air for technical discussion. Goal is to have a quality line of products for land rovers D1, D2, RRC, Defender, and LR3 by September for the National Rally which I except to see all of you at..ha!

How about a shot of the winch tray, and how about how both front and rear mount, seeing how that seems to be the hot topic......looks good...

and i just used the word "how" 4 times...

All the Plates are CNC cut and slotted to fit into each other and then welded for strength.

mounting plated is 1/4 steel with 3 1/2inch bolts. IN THIS PICTURE IT DOES NOT SHOW THE THIRD BOLT HOLE

The slots in the mounting plates are for the headlight washer hoses to pass through

the rear has one bolt per frame horn, and braced to the frame on the sides which is shown in the pictures. Also on the website is a video of us trying to bend the bumper on a rock.

this summer. we have a 03 D2 that hit a snow bank and is ready for a bumper replacement

don't know if you care about any input, but integration of the factory backup lights is pretty cool, especially us 03/04 guys so we don't have to worry about addressing the reverse lights.

+1 on that. just cut us the holes and we'll reuse our factory ones... saves us alot of work. or you can put in some defender lights in the bottom...same wiring, and a bit easier to install..

yes of course. with the D2 the bumper lights are actually useful. The D2 will be a complete redesign. We have a LED light option for the D1 rear bumper, but your turn signal is still going to flash quick because LED don't have the resistance a normal bulb has.

i have a PDF design of the rear tire carrier that is viewable in 3D through Adobe Reader. If anyone is interested I can email it to you. Like I said above the motor on the lathe broke so once we get that in, it will only be a matter of finishing the spindle.

The price of the rear bumper is posted on the website along with a video of testing the rear bumper on a trail ride.

Do you have an MSRP on the D1 front bumper?

we have a idea, but not going to publish it just yet. Probably work out the details in the price tomorrow. I will tell you this.....It will be very reasonably priced like the rear bumper.

Our goal is to get more Land Rover families safely active in the ORV/camping world. We are not out to make millions.

got the base model bumper finished. I also shot some poser picts on a nearby rock before it got dark out. After all of the R&D time I am very pleased with the outcome.

I got the details of the pricing figured out too.

Base Model (black) = $650.00
Extra Options.....(price not figured yet)
Bull bar
Skid Plate
light tabs
headlight washers

Looking good. Kirby from LR Flatirons recommended me to Hi Country early last year when they first built the sliders. When I have time, I'm going to stop by the shop.
