I saw this in a parking lot this morning. It was unbelievable. Had a modern interior and amenities. I don?t know if it was an ICON but it was well done.

Body work looks nice. Then they ruined it with those wheels, light bar, and tire carrier.

I agree. Drop rim size by 2 inches, narrow them 2 inches and throw some rubber with sidewalls on there.

Rear bumper looks like it extends out like a robotic arm.

They needed the larger rims due to the them being stuffed with some very large 4pot rear and 6 pot front brakes and cross drilled rotors. They looked like Currie housings. I know. It’s not for everyone but I liked it. I like old school looks with modern running gear if it’s put together well. And I also realize that it’s far too nice to take it wheeling which also makes it kind of silly.

Did you meet the owner? How old was he? I can't figure out big rims. I see some young people with them and some really old people with them on random cars. It makes no sense to me. Rimz are crapz.

Nope. Didn’t see the owner. Don’t know anything else about it. Just caught my eye. Don’t see to many of those that don’t have plants growing thru the floor boards.

Nice attempt, but they sure fucked up with the details. No way that's an ICON. Even they have far better taste than that. Super ghay ass rim/tire combo, light bar, flares, tire carrier and overall douchbaggery fuck up a good start.

Plastics help with weight but suck everywhere else.

Tangent.

The Superbowl was here.

The Superbowl Experience was sponsored by Hyundai, so they had a bunch of cars displayed at the convention center.

Their fancy sedans with turbos and v8s all used plastic all over the engine including the valve covers.

Lots of vehicles now use plastic oil/trans sump pans too

It's not just Hyundai. It's everywhere.

My daily is a Hyundai with GDI. The engine cover has a lot of sound proofing material on it because the fuel injectors on GDI cars are insanely loud!
