Driver did several things wrong. video startes with him getting out and onlly looking at one side of the vehicle and obstacle
Two: Once on the ledge there is enough room for the truck-sideways
Three: He gooes it then the wheels on the passenger side start to climb
four: he lifts off, wheels stop
Five spare on roof

If he had looked at and considered the entire obstacle, taken it easy then thats not too difficult a climb. At least he was aired down.....

Lack of spotters/help too

Man I'll tell ya, that is some shitty camera work! I'll bet the driver shit his pants too. Where were his spotters? Hopfully though he's ok. Wonder what the insurance company will say?

I was told NEVER to gun it on rock, mud and dirt is one thing, but with all of the people there, they should have given him advice. What a shame

might have been better off turning the wheels down hill and giving gas instead of up hill and giving gas once he felt the truck start to lean over more then ussual.. Of course what do I know.. You can't really see what the ground is like very well on the film and I'm certainly no offroad expert..

I know two things though... Don't go out alone and keep your body parts in the truck.. Other then that I don't know shit.

I would say he proper messed up his arm .... doesn't look like he really had control of the vehicle from the start with that rocking back and forth motion ... Looks like when i let my Girlfriend drive my truck and she got her foot stuck on the accel pedal .. Luckily it was on flat ground .. :smilelol:

simple...he was not brake torqueing or using lockers so when he got off line the power went other then where he wanted it.

he didnt seam to use more power then would have been needed to climb it at all...he just routed that power to the wrong place.

with lockers the truck would have gone straight.

even if he was open he would have gone straight up if he was using his left foot on the brake to prevent the truck from transfering all the power to the right side of the truck.

that thing is really not that off camber when it tips...those things dont have any weight low in them so getting those damn tires both off the roof woulda helped alot.

so ...across the board this happened because of lack of knowledge and poor leadership on the trail...had he had someone that knew what they were doing talking him through it he coulda been just fine.

That looks like the Golden Stairs on Golden spike trail. Very easy obstacle. He used WAY too much throttle to climb.

We drove a bone stock Suzuki Samuria through that trail with no problems
