You can have your cake and eat it too in your D2. It's called longer travel shocks (have to stray from OME though I think), extended brake and ABS lines, and maybe some EE spring retainers.
Reid--swaybars do not limit wheel travel with the entire axle moving at once, as it would over a speedbump. They limit wheel travel on one side of the vehicle when a tire is stuffed and the other is drooping.
So removing your sways would have no effect on speedbump driving.
