How to sell Hoveround

So, my wife's grandmother is not going to need her hoveround anymore. By the looks of it, she never did use the damn thing.

The problem with these things is that insurance buys them for people so there does not seem to be much value for them. I think the retail of it is $7,500.

So, now we have this brand new $7,500 paper weight.

Anyway, how do we sell this, or should we just donate it the vet hospital

There's always people looking for them on craigslist. You could donate it and take the write-off next year.

If you put a 3-link and 35's on it Jake will buy it.

There was a Vietnam Vet down in Reidsville NC that had his stolen off his truck a while back that could use one. I'll try to find the story.

Retail on those is wildly inflated since most gets charged to Medicare. Donate it, take the deduction for close to retail and you'll be WAY ahead of what you can sell it for.
