How to turn SLS off?

Does anyone have explicit instructions on how to turn off the SLS system using the Testbook?

I replaced the SLS with springs and I need to turn it off, but none of the local shops know how.

The dealer wants to charge me $135 to figure it out and another local mechanic seemed to know less about the discos than I do and was disturbed by the fact that my truck has been modified.

Thanks,

Mike

Thanks Andrew, but can you tell me which section it is.

I don't have access to an Autologic, but I need to be able to describe to procedure to a mechanic.

I just bit the dust and paid the dealer. They change it from a SLS setup to a coil spring setup Disco. Then no more Christmas Tree on the dashboard.

Which dealer did you go to? I called San Jose and they had no clue , but were willing to charge me for an hours labor while they tried to figure it out.

I went to the LR dealer in Livermore. They had no problem doing it. In fact they did it while I waited.

I'm not sure what the charge for just doing that would be. I went off-roading and had the ABS and check engine light come on. They reset the ABS and couldn't find anything wrong with it and replaced the purge valve for the check engine light and did the change to coil springs at the same time so I don't know what the actual cost was.

I bought mine at SJ. Frankly I quit going there because of the service department. I usually take mine to West Coast British in Livermore for most things, but they don't have a test book and when you get into resetting the ABS and making changes you need the test book.

If you talk to the the gal who's the service writer for LR she's pretty helpful. So far they've been very good for a dealer. Even the mechanics seem nice.
