I like the BAJA brand lights he has mounted to the windshield. They are $20 a set @ your local Wal-Mart if you're interested in buying some......
You might also see them mounted on golf cars elsewhere.

Okay, the travelocity gnome flew us around the freaking world to get to Knoxville from Oklahoma city. Within fifteen minutes of arriving at the Rover dealer and warming the H1 up it was puking coolant out the bottom.

To make a very long story short we spent the next two hours at the Hummer dealer trying to run a test to determine there was exhaust gas present in the coolant (cool test btw). It turns out that there was definitely exhaust gas present due to some type of a leak. and because of the known problems of the #8 cylinder in 2000-01 Hummers and some other issues, we decided he should pass(again).

This is the second time I've flown out on a trip with him and an H1 has turned out to be a truck to pass on.

This time we went back and instead of renting a car or waiting twelve hours to catch a flight back. He bought an 06 Porsche Cayenne S for 21K that was a sweet drive back home.

No complaints with LR Knoxville or Tom the salesman at all. They were upfront about the Hummer once it started puking coolant. I'm just glad we weren't half way home when it happened.

The POS lights on the light bar had melted the plastic grill covers on them and the exhaust had definitely been used. The exhaust looked kewl and definitely would have been fun to rip off on a tree.

Anyway, we made it back unscathed thanks to the Porsche and once again a hummer is not in his drive (yes).

That Cayenne was a sweet ride back.

Be sure to point him to this thread. :smilelol:

Personally, I'd be pissed at the dealer. There's no reason they shouldn't have already known it was puking coolant, unless the fault just occurred. Pretty suspect to me.
