I found an offer at local werehouse for used husky superwinch 8000lbs for 1600 eur and i am wondering if its fair price for legendary used winch.
Also wondering how difficult an instalation on Disco is? Is it very difficult? How it will affect front suspenson and aproachangle?

PS: sorry for bad english

Kind regards from Slovenia

theres not a mass produced solution
suspension mods depend on how far out it sticks from the grill

I went through this on my D1. I just finished my winch installation - see pics. At first I thought I could use a front trailer hitch and a winch plate that could be put on or taken off. After purchasing two different plates, and trying to engineer a way to weld the front hitch receiver onto the frame and mocking it up etc. - I finally concluded that it was not a good solution. Fortunately for me - I found a used Lucky 8 winch bumper which I bought from one of the members here on the forum and just went with that. I bought the winch used, replaced the cable with rope, replaced the fairlead, and added some Baja lights to finish off the installation. I didn't realize it at the time - but to get it installed with the bumper you have to cut the grill so that the winch can sit back all the way. Not too hard and it came out pretty good I think:
