So my birthday was this past Monday, and what does my wife surprise me with? An ARB Winch Pack (the 18"Wx12"Hx10"D one) stuffed with two 3/4" shackles, an ARB snatch block, ARB tree protector, and Master-Pull Towline (20') . Then, to top it off, she had an EEC-German license plate custom-made for the front of the truck--it reads "THE ROVER." What a woman! (I knew I was in trouble a few years ago when she bought me an Optima Yellow Top battery "just because")

Watch out.

My friend's wife bought him a shotgun for xmas a couple of years ago. When she told the guys at the gun store what she was doing she got four marriage proposals on the spot.

Hey my wife's cool, too. I get whatever I like with no complaints. Just stuck on an RTE, winch, GBR Rear Axles, driving lights....All I heard about if was the comment from her and the step-daughter that they thought the bumper looked cool. Not one complaint about what I spent. Amazing!

KEEP HER!! And FWIW, we had beans for dinner! (daddy needs a new axle breather kit)

**note--There was also beef stroganof and asparagus. If she was under the impression that I led all y'all to believe that's all she served us, I would be SLEEPING in the Rover...

Man I hope God blesses me with a wife that gets me toys for my rover well hopefully one that just understands the addiction.

Apparently she has always loved them, too. When we met, my Rover was living in a garage and I was driving my 2002 Saab 9.3 SE turbo (I miss that car sometimes). Anyway, one day it came up that she had always been a Rover enthusiast (but never an owner), and so I pulled the Rover out of storage, got a new license plate and started driving it again (she said it "fit" me better than the Saab, a car she insisted was for women  ). A few weeks later, the Saab was sold and the Rover was my DD again. Fast-forward two years (to today), we have two more kids and another Discovery--this one a DII. She's now been to a Uwharrie Safari, she's ridden at Caney Fork, and we've wheeled at numerous other places locally. Hell, it was her idea to join Old North State!

I love this woman!

Make sure you tell her how much you appreciate her interest in, and support of, your LR addiction! :)

And, tell her to stay away from Dweb! lol...
