Hello

my name is Craig , i have found this site to br a very valuable source for disco owners.
Thanks to everyone who takes time to answer the posts.

I have two questions regarding my 95 disco lights

1. My right headlight beam will not switch on , have checked and replaced the bulb , no luck . I believe i have also checked the correct fuse for this , Running light works fine but when i switch the headlights on NOTHING ????????

2. Recently i heard the flasher increase in ticking speed when i put on the right signal, no problem i assuned i blew a bulb , but uppon further investigation bulb is fine . The Left side ticks at normal speed and works flawlessly but as mentioned when i put the right side on , flasher ticks quickly and rear signal does not work, front right signal is fine , is this a flasher issue ???????

This is my wifes truck , and i fear her getting into an accident so any help would be so greatly appreciated , anything to keep from going to the stealership,, i mean dealership

Thanks so much

Get a test light and check for power and ground at the socket that plugs into the headlight bulb. could be a bad connection or ground. Also there are several turn indicator bulbs on discos make sure all the bulbs are good. the thing with electronics is that the simplist problem can make you think it's something complicated.

If your rear right signal does not flash, that means the bulb is blown and that is why your right flasher is ticking at a high speed. Change the rear right bulb and everything should be back to normal. As for your headlamp, remove the plug to the bulb socket and spray all connections with a contact cleaner. That may solve the problem. Also check the voltage at the plug before connecting it back to the bulb socket. Make sure the headlamp switch is switched on when doing that.
