:patriot: Well, I got my tax return today, went straight to the bank, and paid it off. What a good feeling to have no more car payments.

Well... for what I seem to have to pay on April 15, I can buy myself more rovers than I own (of similar vintage, of course)...
What a good feeling would it be to have no more taxes...

Congratulations.
Your timing is perfect because you'll need that extra cash flow to cover all the new taxes our she-devil bitch governor Gregoire is cramming down our throats.

Making a statement like that is leaving your doors open to all sorts of bad crap now. Might as well go and pour some sand in the oil fill to get a jump on it :p

Congrats on paying it off though, got two more years on mine.

Financing is for the birds.

In all honesty, payments on a vehicle are somewhat ridiculous, there are so many vehicles out there that are affordable and get the job done that it makes more sense to save up 'til you can purchase a vehicle outright. It's also better to save up for said vehicle and realize all the other things that you can use that money for, good, or evil.

i paid mine off years ago.

i swiftly learned that rovers always make you pay.

do yourself a favor & put the same amount as your car payment into a 'rover account.'

you'll thank yourself later, trust me.

x2 Yessir, although i bought mine outright, I think the maintenance bill so far, including the extended warranty is fairly high.
