Honestly, I think I am slowly starting to like the L3. Don't get me wrong, it's no D110 or 2004 Disco with a 2" lift and ARB bumper, but from what I have read it will probably be a pretty sweet vehicle for normal use - including on ice, snow, heavy rain, and for driving back roads.
That said, I HATE the way it looks. The front end isn't too bad, and the interior is pretty good (stupid looking 3rd row seats though). But all three rear doors should be dragged out into the street and run over with an H2. The fact that they put a horiz. split in the rear and took off the spare is... well embarracing.
Anyway, it's not like I'm going to go out and buy one this November (we just got a 2003) But I will be sure to show up at the dealer when they come in, and I will try to fanagle a "service item" on the 2003 Disco at just the right time so that I can take one as a loaner for the day!
