... crapped out on my '95 LWB; never been good in the 1st place, but yesterday the key just wouldn't turn.
Went _somewhere_ and got one from another '95 LWB. Worked fine when I took it, couldn't turn the key, either, when I got home.
Took off the lock from mine; two of three keys seemed to work acceptably.
This morning... Put it back in, neither key works. Took it off, couldn't turn any key in it.
Took to an LR shop; as I was unloading my story, the lock from my truck seemed to start working. The other one didn't come to life.
Decided to do a little surgery; broke off the cover under the steering column lock pin, dropped out the springs, and the lock seemed to start working.
So... I guess I'll run home at lunch, take a dremel tool to the lock from my truck, and butcher it.
Before I do it, does anyone have any suggestions?
Also... how does one remove the lock cylinder? The lock in question is an ugly variety found in later RRC and D1 ('95 and '96 for sure, don't know the other years).

Will greatly appreciate any comments,
