I'm doing it mid Nov. You can only go "guided" these days, I think it will be a piece of cake.

Anyone done it, any recommendations for me?

Nope. Total cheap bastard trip. 2 nights in hostal before, likely just hiking around the various sites near Cusco. Then 4 nights on the trail with a cmpany called llamapath. 2 night in cusco before heading back. Will be a quick tour to kill some frequent flyer miles that were ready to expire. I may also try to climb Putucusi.

haven't been there yet, but i will one day. my fiancé is from Paraguay and its all she talks about.
