Hey Does anyone know of a good (active like the discoweb) Forum for Infinity G35's?

The wife drives a 2003 G35 and it needs the front brake pads replace. Unlike the EXTREAMLY simple Land Rover front brake system...

the G35 has an ASS load of choices for brake pads... and brake kits... Plus there are all kinds of extra shit to deal with "shims" wires?!?!? etc...

so i was wondering if anyone knew of a good place on the web to sort out all the cruft...

thx

Thxs paul

my problem is that you cant just go down to Kragen's and buy a cheap shop manual for what ever reason...

in any event. i just decided to "dive into" it... and it wasnt that bad... the G35 has some wierd metal spring things that hold the pads... but in the end, it was just a regular old brake pad change... took less then an hour per side including the time it takes to let the "anti brake pad squeel" stuff to dry.

so if anyone ownes a G35... like MOST cars... save your self the $$$$$ the dealership chgs and just buy the pads (with new shims) and do it your self

KEN

Nothing like DWeb, but there is a g35driver.com site. Have to deal with the ricers there though.

I've got a 03 g35 coupe. I'm dreading the upcoming tire replacement on mine. Those tires are *expensive.

Actually we just replaced our tires... Yes the Stock size is expensive cause there is such a limited selection... i think there are only like 3 or 4 choices period...

but i went with 225/50/17 instead of the 215/55/17. and i got a set of four for something like $500 installed, balanced, tax and tire disposal fee at WheelWorks here in Califorinia...

i like the slightly wider tires... Stick even better on the corners... but they do feel a little more "jittery/sensitive"
