Tis the time of year again, and probably one of the only weeks where I enjoy my job a little. That's right, time for inter-office present giving. Now I don't give presents to co-workers, and I've never really had a thing for giving shit away to customers either. But today I've received two gifts from loyal customers. Pretty nice too;
-Brooklyn Brewery Chocolate Black Chocolate Stout 4-pack (Only brewed once a year for the winter season)
-Anchor Brewing Company "Special Ale" 36th edition MAGNUM x2 (Also only brewed from Nov- Mid January)

Anyone else get anything worth sharing? Anyone every had this Anchor Special Ale before? I'm pretty excited to try it as I believe I have heard that the recipe changes for each year/edition.

Of course pics below.

where do you work? that looks like a food prep area?

Currently I am doing something that I hate, it's not the type of kitchen work for me in the long run, but it's a potential "in" with two VERY large property developers in the metro area.

The video that plays, you can see my head popping out when Dave is in my cafe saying "a lot of organic fare"

Other then that, I miss restaurants.

I've had the Anchor Special (Christmas) Ale many times in the past. Before they were bottling it in the magnums. Always happy with it. Rather "heavy" ale from what I remember.

I never really got into Anchor Brewing. I even toured the brewery back many years. Back when I did the tour de California for a few weeks.....stopping at all the breweries in Santa Cruz, San Fran, Tahoe, etc.

One of my favorite seasonal beers is Winterhook. Bummed out when Wild Goose stopped making the Snow Goose Winter Ale.

The Lou!
I admin for 5 people. One of them got me a really nice watch, and I almost never have to do anything for him. Another one got me 2 bottles of wine, fancy olive oil and some fancy cookies which is nice since she works my ass to death. The other that burns up my phone all day will probably just get me a $20 Bass Pro giftcard that corporate will end up taking taxes out my next check for; as much as he depends on me he should have gotten me a new car! The other two won't get me anything.

All in all, I say I did pretty good.
