Interior lights

Dont switch off, anybody got any hints?
Unfortunately my knowledge of electrics is very limited...

1998 4.6 V8 P38.

check the switches in all the door jambs and the tailgate.

My tailgate locking mechanism was shot and my lights kept staying on. I had to pull the bulbs until the tailgate is fixed.

Where is the tailgate interior light switch on a P38?? I don't see it anywhere.

On the RRC it is in the rail above the upper tailgate, just a black plastic button, maybe the same for the P38?

Any idea what the resolution is for it? Replace the switch?

At least on the RRC, it's the same switch for all doors, tailgate and hood. My friend the napa guy said it looked to be a very common door switch, and they could match it up quickly with another model.
