Intermittent starting issues

Is the chk engine light on with key on engine off ? While its acting up ? You need to figure out if its a security system issue or a regular old electrical problem .

I have a manual somewhere but if you can provide it and suggestions I would appreciate it. I am not an electrical guy by any means. I happen to know somebody who is that can help me out though.

I have a friend who has a car deadlift frame.. Will give this a shot and report back

Jumped the starter last night and it started right up which means it is definitely not the starter +/- and just the wire to the solenoid.. Will hopefully have more time to mess with it this weekend.
