04D2 with 115K miles.

Trans oil and filter replaced within the past 10K miles.

Experiencing a weird shudder that is intermittent when moderately accelerating, don't feel it when I drive it hard.

It usually shows up when its not yet at operating temp. Not sure if this is just because its "cold" or the harbinger of doom.

Any input is appreciated,

I had the same issue for the past 6 months after a transmission change and filter. I have an 04 with 150k. It was happening at the threshold of foot slightly on or off the accelerator pedal.
I know these zf transmissions are fairly bomber. Addressed all the engine management items,TPS,MAF... ended up being the plastic attachment of the accelerator cable locks on to the firewall. One of the clips was broken off so the cable was moving very slightly and the fact the cable it self didn't have the action as a new accelerator cable -spring back action, when comparing both. Hope this works of you.
