Get the storm on Verizon, I am on it now on this site. It admittedly takes some getting used to but worth it. If you like programs that are business related (wall street journal, forbes, etc) the storm has kick ass apps. If you like apps like make queefing or one that vibrates when you are near starbucks, get the iphone.

I've used crackberries, don't like the OS. My last phone was a Blackjack II, not bad, wanted a bigger screen. Got the iPhone, like anything else it's not perfect, but after using it for a couple of months now I can't see being without it.

I said from the get go it was underpowered, both mem/processor wise, and battery. Still feel that way, so it was no surprise to see the new model have more memory, faster processor, and longer battery life. I do also wish it had a slide out keyboard, but I have become pretty good with the touchscreen. Wish it had stereo bluetooth, miss my cordless headset.

Pandora radio is cool, I can plug it into the headset in the car and basically have satellite radio, I have a Weather channel app that give me all the weather I need at a touch of a button, it updates my yahoo mail on the go, more and more websites are mobile/iphone coded, and there are a couple of cool cases with built in batteries for that issue. Yeah I've grown pretty attached to mine.

Just wanted to post an update. I purchased an LG Nv touch on Verizon and find that it does the things I need it to: e-mail, some browsing. I'm gettting comfortable with some of the standard features thati never took advantage of with my previous Motorola flip phone.
Thanks for all of the input!
Now all I need is another mechanic to help with the workload....
