Is it OK for spark plug wire to touch the engine block

I changed spark plugs and wires on my 2004 discovery. Thanks to a wonderful writeup on how to remove SAI pipe. In a rush to put back the SAI pipe I forgot to secure the wires on a clip which attaches to the SAI pipe. Now three wires touch the block when they make a turn. Are these wires pretty heat resistent?
I hate to do this all over again. Its a big PITA. Any assurance will be greatly appreciated.

a good wire can touch anything a failing wire can touch nothing...how good are the wires?

this is the reason that companies work hard on wire routing with looms, when the car/truck is new things are fine as the wires age any potential short will undermine the way the engine runs.

truth be told you will want to add some snap on wire looms and adjust the wires so they dont touch the block.
