I recently purchased a Discovery 4 - 2013 - 8speed with 146000km mileage.
It is a beautiful car but I am concerned about a few things:
1-It has a vibration coming through the body which starts at around 125km/h and gets progressively worse to 140kmh and beyond. When I take my foot off the accelerator the vibration goes away. The vibration comes back when I accelerate. It is then felt at lower speeds (ie down to 100km)
2- At low speed from take off it sometimes buck's/jerks. I find this happens when the vehicle is not under load. Usually going down hill.
3- I let off the accelerator at low speeds (to go over a speed hump) and when I accelerate again (slowly) the usual nice rattle of the diesel engine sounds like when the sprayer of the dishwasher runs over a pot (I know this is a funny description of the sound but this is a close as I can get to a descripition).
I would appreciate any advice on the source of these troubles. If they are very serious I will need to consider returning the vehicle to the dealer.
