naturally, it got to the point where none of my lock actuators worked, so i've been slowly replacing them with some aftermarket motors. i did the front two and they worked great up until yesterday. my drivers side quit working again but the problem lies in the actual mechanial part of the lock. it won't go down or up all the way and its binding some how. i have to use the to open the door, and i have to pull up on the lock from the inside when exiting. it was doing this before i replaced the actuator, but the stronger ones overcame the issue until now. has anyone replaced the actual lock mechanisms before

also, the shift key on this turd computer just crapped out, otherwise i would of ended in a question mark. today aint my day

The Lou!
Wish I had a fix for ya. Mine are doing the same thing. It's bad when the door panels are off, even worse when they are on. The actuators have been adjusted, lubed, checked the mechanisms and nothing helps. I disconnected mine thinking they were binding and creating my battery to drain, but I have still have the battery drain issue so it's not the locks.

I wish I would have kept my originals cause they worked great. I hate having to lock each door by hand and with a key. Oh well, I've got much bigger fish to fry with my truck now so all I can is emphathize with you. :)
