What's a good jack and safety stands to get to start working on my 2000 Discovery?

Weight requirements and all that jazz. Saw a two ton trolley on sale but i'm thinking that aint gonna do it.

Or is the stock jack good enough?

Make sure you get high lift jack and stands. I had the little 2 ton set from my last car and I can get the tire maybe three inches off the ground on the Rover. The jack stands are just as bad. had to buy taller ones when I replaced the springs. Now, on the other hand, neither jack fits under the g35...

I have the harbor freight stands. They work fine.

Sams frequently has a set of really nice, really tall 6 ton stands for sale. They have big pads on the feet, which is nice, as I have sent a set without them right through a driveway before. I don't like shopping there, but I haven't seen better stands at any other store for use under such a tall vehicle.

Cheers,
