Well, I just bought an 05 LR3 today. I hope it will be as nice as we think it will be (we've driven LR3 loaners). This will be our 5th Land Rover.

Just a basic SE with V8. No navigation. I like to keep my Rovers simple (or as simple as possible LOL)
I wish it had the HD package. No dice. It is hard as hell to find one. Most of the time when you ask, the salesman or seller doesnt know what the HD package is. At LR Tulsa I was inquiring about it and I had to go through 2 salesman (all of whom were "Gold Certified") before I found one that knew what it was. None of the LR3s on the lot had the HD package. I called Bear Valley, none of their LR3s had them either.
Oh well, at least it has the center locking diff. HD has the rear locker correct?

They really are not to hard to find, you have to be patient. It took me about 3 weeks to find one that had the HD package and other options I wanted. I had a great sales person that knew how picky (and cheap) I was. No worries, its still a capable rig with or without the locker. How do you like it so far, Any pin striping yet?
