John Lee was under the impression that they did, but I just looked at Kaymars site and couldn't find one either.

Mark Holzapfel on the Disco2owners yahoo group just got one, and he has pics on the yahoo group. It's very different from other offerings, pretty cool.

Well, no increased quarterpanel protection, but all iin all it is a good looking bumper. It looks real sturdy, but gas tank armor looks like a must.

yeah i noticed that there didnt seem to be much in the way of the quarter panel protection aswell. The rest of it looked good though.

It would look a lot better without the spare carrier and the jerry can holder.

I took a close look at one at BBRR4 and like the blade, but the other stuff makes the whole rear end look cluttered.

I agree. Is there a functional reason why you would want to have the rear tire relocated onto a swinging arm. The ony thing I can think of would be if you wanted to hang a bunch of crap of the rear tire and were worried about the extra weight on the door. In that case

We'll see.

The owner of the bumper in those pics on Disco2.com lives in Australia, where the Kaymar bumpers are made.

I believe that US availability is subject to whatever is being imported into the US, and if that means they're not importing the blade-only version of the bumper, we're stuck with the spares carrier and the jerry can holder.

If I'm wrong, please let us all know. I like the blade-only version of that bumper.

it does look better with out all of the extras on it. if you look at kaymars website they sell and make a bunch of accessories that are made to hang off of the tire carrier. From a bunch of antenna mounts to a telescoping light.

i think it looks sort of stamped and chintzy.

i've seen a lot of kaymars on LCs and they were all at ARB level or below in terms of construction..

Jack's right...

Had a kaymar on the back of a FJ62, it did several good things: stronger rear bumper, let me move the spare tire up from under the rear, gave me a place for the jerry can, gave me a work light.
That stuff was good, but the fit and finish were not great, maybe a 5 out of 10.

And it became a PITA to swing the tire out of the way whenever I had to open the rear hatch. I would not do it again.
