I found this on Anchorage Craigslist a few days ago. 89 RRC, 139,000 miles, ARB Bullbar, winch, OME suspension, Brownchurch full length roofrack. $2750. I know the price is a bit high but remember this is AK. People here have no idea what a used car is worth. When I asked about condition this is what I got:
the front end is a bit loose and it needs the rear hatch and lock replaced (I have a new rear hatch but no lock) and the master cylinder needs replacing as it takes a pump or two to get good pressure at times, there is also a problem with "Park" as it doesn't catch often but she shifts good and the transfer case works without problem.. Wheel bearings, and exhaust have been replaced. Triple Auxiliary gauges have been installed in the cockpit.
The loose front end, master cylinder and the "park problem" which I guess could use some elaboration are the only things that concern me since I probably won't do those repairs myself. Too much work? What do you think? Thanks in advance.
