Kyle...come on step up :D

I know Alan Babayan dosent think much of his.... one way to look at them is that they are just $100 away from the set you really want :D

I'm running them and so far I like them, tried them in mud and rock with no issues and in South Central PA we haven't had snow yet, so hopefully soon I'll let you know how they do in snow. I've put close to 5k miles on mine and they seem to give a decent quiet ride. They only thing that took some getting used too was going from stock 235/70 to 235/85's they handle quite a bit different, however at the same time I put the tires on I did a scorpion racing 2.5" suspension lift on it. Now I love the setup.

I ran a set of 245/75-16s on my (then) stock DII for a while. They proved durable and sure footed on the trail. Not a bad choice as a less expensive alternative (IMO). They do not, however, have the "DiggerLugz" that the BFGs have (the upper side wall tread) nor do they have the "rim protector" that the BFG does, both features make a difference (again, IMO). The BFG M/T (now on my truck, 265/75-16) is also a bit quiter on the tarmac than the Kumho M/Ts.

I found the Kumho M/T's to be a decent tire but I think the BFG is enough of a better tire to warrant the extra $$.

Got Kumho ECSTA STX 225/65 with about 9k on them and no problems, have taken off road into this and no problems. ( I know not really a mud tire)

245/75/16 here and I like them well enough. I get dealer prices on them so I'll stick with them for the life of this set at least. Road noise is not bad and the handling is OK. I did lift and tires at the same time so I'm not 100% sure how much is actually tires. My biggest problem with them is that they are not very good at self cleaning; tend to collect mud.

FWIW,
Michael

Thanks all!

Thanks for the feedback! I found a really great deal on these so I think I'll give them a shot when I upgrade my tires.

Marc - hope to meet you at the Bill Burke event this weekend...

I would of thought the Michelin XZL's were a bit more than $100 more :D

What pressures are you guys running on these?

I've got them on my D1 and i'm pretty happy with them. They arent the BFG but for the $$ they were definately a good buy.
