Lawschool just sucks. The worst part is that you don't learn how to practice law you learn how to learn to practice law. If that makes any sense.

That goes for most fields, not just law. I remember right after college, many jobs ago, I was getting specifications for a screen layout from a user, and he said: "I want to see the price on that bond position in thirtyseconds." I still recall silently thinking: "Hmm, I bet I can get it to him quicker than that..."

Those were the good old days.....

two questions. Does a Harvard Grad History professor make him know history better, I mean it is history you either know the facts or not?
second He is a History professor so does he make more money because he spent more on school. I doubt it. I would think he might get hired faster, or he might get paid better at a private school but not a state run school.

One more thing I am 6'1 with brown hair and only 29 so that would make me taller and younger so therefore much better looking.

I seem to remember a great quote from "Good Will Hunting" that goes something like... "He spent $200,000 on an education he could have gotten for a buck fifty in late charges at the public library."

Oh, and I'm a dark-haired, 5' 10", 28 year old who happens to be married. I guess I don't qualify due to my short stature... :D

agree...most fields. Nothing funnier than a wet behind the ears city planner, chock full of crap about traditional neighborhoods and mixed-use bunk, realizing that the processes and market sometimes call for the exact opposite.

John C. McGinley in 'Point Break' - "you know nothing, in fact you know less than nothing, even if you knew you knew nothing you'd know something but you don't!"

He is incredibly intelligent though ~ Sigh! HO HUM
I will start a poll with all the possible prospects and will furthermore allow the HLRC to vote and pick who will be the lucky one !

LIST: Shirly, SS, RoverGuy, Clay, SA, Harvard, Ryan..This is pathetic!

If I read this right. I have 2 chances to win????

BTW, does my pic now become the posterchild for the desperate (ex)housewives and schoolgirls?

On a side note I think Justin should be put in the pot. I bet he is up there with the Harvard professor. Sorry about your woes. Close your eyes.... Imagine Nov. 12th CEL Margaritas and good friends.
