Once the water leaks start causing electrical problems they become shitboxes real fast.I hate them because they are the most boring Land Rover made. They’re decent vehicles, just completely uninteresting.

I knew Jimmy when he lived in Richmond and wheeled a pink Scout. Was it a scout Jimmy? Anyway, I know he owned most of them.No. Jimmy is a friend of mine, but my God he hates LR3's.
I love mine and I've put 100k miles on it in five and a half years. It's a pain in the ass sometimes, though.
Haha, yeah that was my friend’s Scout. Somehow he talked his parents into buying that for him as his first car. It leaked so much oil that he never changed it the whole time he owned it and just added oil every week.I knew Jimmy when he lived in Richmond and wheeled a pink Scout. Was it a scout Jimmy? edit, I think the scout was a friends now that I think about it. You already has the D2

I actually have a full size dealership oval in both those designs. Pretty sure all that happened around 2010 when the LR4 came out. But your right about the oval changing. The new one has chrome around the letters. Chrome should never be on a Land Rover in my opinion. This was around the time the brand completed its sterilization, transitioning from the muddy oval to the gloss ebony oval, from clever adventure ads to 4x4 CSPAN.
Chrome shouldn’t be on a Land Rover. I don’t know why. Just like engines should point out the front, like God intended. Why he intended that I’m not really sure. But I accept it.No chrome? Why not?
I remember. Trust me. Just like I remember that Saddle interior that got posted up this weekend. There’s shit you can’t un-see
The worst for me was dealers taking the 90s RRC 3 spoke wheels and getting them chromed. Usually on a black RRC.Chrome shouldn’t be on a Land Rover. I don’t know why. Just like engines should point out the front, like God intended. Why he intended that I’m not really sure. But I accept it.
While I am generally not fond of chrome.... Chrome TWR five-spokes on the 95 SWB look pretty sharp, better than silver ones. The worst for me was dealers taking the 90s RRC 3 spoke wheels and getting them chromed. Usually on a black RRC.
So true"My D2 is leaking oil."
FB: "LS Swap!"
"What drive shaft should I get?"
FB: "LS Swap!"
"I need a window regulator."
FB: "LS Swap!"
"I would like to put an LS in my D2, does anyone know how?"
FB: "Er um, the LS Swap shop but it will cost $25,000 not including an LS and you get sparkly lights on your dash."
"I want to sell my truck."
FB: "One Million Dollars!"
My running 04 must be priceless.
Especially if one could remove the Discovery Channel decal and sell it as well. No doubt some good parts on it though.Looks like it's probably worth the $3500 in parts
