picked up the latest edition of Four Wheeler mag just for kicks today in a store. While thumbing through the pages of some of those jacked up redneck machinces, i came across this add for Texaco. Add subtitle reads:

"When the Arizona Land Rover Association goes offroad, they trust their vehicles to the unbeatable cleaning power of techron..." etc etc.

Nice defender, too.

Is there an "Arizona Land Rover Association" ? What did they get for the endorsement?

Title suggestion above mentioned film combining rovers and STDs:

Clap for Rovers!

Every one in a while i pick up a Petersen's to see what the non-rover world is up to but very rarely will you find a rover but they do show up amongst the pages and pages of jeeps, pick ups, monster trucks and other redneck stuff.

The trailer/teaser looks pretty good, but then again even if it was a film on venereal disease, as long as there are Rovers in it I'd watch it. :D
I got the Jeep thing, now it hurts when I pee.

They got the name wrong. Should have been Arizona Land Rover Owners (www.azlro.org). Texaco was one of the major sponsors of the Cabins, Mansions & Mines video, so they have rights to our souls and first born children. It's a screen grab out of the video.

I know Texaco was sponsoring the movie they made, I wonder if it will be released any time soon.

The video was at color correction last week when I talked to the producer. He said November release date in time for Christmas but I'm not holding my breath.
