Next best thing to sliced bread. Sent over from the UK as a popular item. 3/8 drive, impact grade.

Make changing propsahft universal joints much easier with this propshaft tool.this unique tool with its high tensile thinned walled single sided socket enables easy access to the propshaft nuts and enables you to use a ratchet or even a air ratchet or gun. Very thin wall so the tool fits into the joints.

Used one first hand last weekend...a MUST HAVE tool
Not trying to disuade anyone from buying one, but that's a bit of an overstatement. I've been removing and installing propshafts for at least 35 years, and never felt it was a "must have".

Nah, it's not hard at all to just use a 9/16th socket w/ extension and a spanner... but hopefully this tool will make it a bit easier for those hard to reach times.. especially with an adapter

Your right, not a must have but it sure as hell makes life easier. From my expereince it sure is nice to slide underneath and remove all 16 bolts without having to jack up the truck and rotating a shafts. With a 3/8 drive inpact gun and a wrench both shafts are off in a few minutes.

I love mine. You dont have to have a hub tool either, but it sure is nice! Gordo
Well, now a hub nut socket I'd consider must have in the sense that it's really the only method that doesn't damage the nuts. Though as a kid I did plenty without one.

I feel like this tool is the required so that damaging the head of the screw does not occur. Before i had this tool i had rounded a nut off using standard socket and rounded it beyond repair. i then had to saw zaw the drive shaft off in order to get clearance to get to the nut it was a nightmare. after that i bought the tool. it fits in there so well that it made me realize to use any other method was asking for trouble.

So yes you can do the job without this tool, but i opine that you are playing a risky game of Russian roulette. (not that you cant still fuck the screw head up misusing this tool.)
