Looks like it came out recently. I just purchased it yesterday at KB toys. It's only 12 cars for the whole "Best of British" set and they had a 3 for $10 deal. Well worth it.

Anyone have this one yet? The winch is actually functional.

Ok, just picked this up at Target tonight, and I'm either a complete fucking moron, or the winch isn't as functional as I had hoped. Is the winch supposed to be motorized? I got it to free spool, but it's now stuck, and if I don't get it figured out, I'm going to be made fun of by my nephew and his Kamaz looking truck!

hold the Rover in you hand and roll the wheel on the winch toward the truck with your thumb. it makes a clicking noise but it winds up.. it's not a powered winch, but would be cool.

Rats, I was hoping for a powered winch. Well, my nephew hooked me up to his kamaz with his tow strap and made me say "Land Rover Sucks" or he wouldn't pull me out. Then we went 4-wheeling through a scree-field of Legos.

You can see the Defender in the middle of the picture. We had an issue at a Target today, so I had to respond, and while I was waiting for their District Manager to show up, I decided to browse the matchbox aisle, and came across 2 of these, a green and a blue. Also had some cool matchbox cars (Citroen, Mini, 61' Jaguar)

there is a new d2 in brown out now. I guess there is a defender coming sometime this year that is going to be redone, black with more detail.

actually some of the matchbox cars are kinda cool to look through, I mean who doesnt want an el camino

Ive got most of the ones released in the last 2-3 years. Ive built up quite a collection. I buy two of each...one to take out of the box, one to keep in and put up on the wall...Im a nerd

Also, Ive got the Big RC LR3...its dead and I never play with it.
