Larger Tires for a P38

I'm currently running 265/65/R18s on my '02 RR. Has anyone tried 275/70/R18s? I need to go up a size to keep up with my Landcruiser friends. I'm planning on lifting the EAS an inch, the bump stops and inch, and adding some modest wheel spacers and fender flares. Should I figure on regearing when I make this change? Please let me know your thoguhts.

275/70/R18s are going to be about a 33in tall tire and you will have rubbing issues.

If I add wheel spacers, shouldn't that help prevent the rubbing issues? Is there another way to fix that problem?

Did you see our build thread ?

The wheel spacers are going to make it worse. The issue is the tire in the front on the bodywork by the door.

275/65/18 fits with barely any rubbing on the radius arms at full lock in reverse. took the mud flaps off though.

The P38 has offset rad arms, the rub issue will be on the body or mud flap in your case.

I ditched the front mud flaps ages ago when I installed the RockRover sliders. Will I still rub if everything is up an inch?
