I like this little guy.

This is a Ford model 1100 Diesel Compact Tractor. It has a liquid cooled, 2 cylinder, diesel engine. It has glow plugs for easy starting in any weather. It has a 5 speed transmission with High and Low range for a total of 10 Forward and 2 Reverse gears. It has Independent brakes and a Differential Lock. It has a standard 540 PTO in the back and a 3pt Hitch Hydraulic Lift (Cat. 1). This tractor is in very good shape and runs great. Includes a Woods 42” 3 pt hitch Rotary Mower that is in very nice condition. Asking $2200.00 best offer. Will consider separating tractor and mower.

Yeah, they do make gas models, just checked their website. Ive just never seen a little lawn/garden tractor with a diesel before. Thats pretty neato.

It's so fun to pop the hood and see that tiny little inline three in there. You just want to pinch it. It's like a baby Cat diesel.

Garrett, that's a nice buy there. Actually, I wasn't thinking about the three point. This doesn't have it, but the frame is strong enough. The G series may have it, but I can't remember. It's got plenty of steel back there to work something up, and even has holes that are pre-drilled in such a fashion that it's hard to believe they weren't put there to install something along those lines.

I'm thinking eventually of putting one of those Johnny Bucket things on her. They look like a great idea to me. There is a company as well who sells a box blade that works with normal riders. It's more expensive than a normal one, but it works, anyway.

Right now, I'm sketching out a bracket for my little Champion winch I picked up at Sam's for a hundred bucks. I'm going to make sure the bracket will also hold a Warn, because I think I'll do that eventually. I got the Champion for the trailer.

Edit: Yeah, I think they want you to get the G for the three point. The thing is, the GR is much mroe manuverable, so it's going to be better for actual mowing. When I need the three point, I'll get the BX Compact Tractor and simply won't bother with a deck. No sense getting any more rediculous than I already have with the mower. This way, the mower stays pretty much a mower and hauler, with the option of one of those little buckets in the future if I need something before I can get an actual tractor.

Cheers,

Kennith
