I have drops coming from what I assume the windshield. I just want to make sure it is the windshield before i replace it. Any tips on tracking it down would be appreciated!

Could be windshileld. Could be upper top corners of drip rails where they meet a-pillars. Could be front roof rail attachment points (foam seals start to become waterlogged and leak). And obviously the sunroof.

When my front roof rail attachment points were leaking, I got drops right where you circled, above the windshield. The roof has 2 skins (inner and outer) and when those roof rail attachments were leaking, they leaked between the roof skins, and it made its way dead center of windshield. At that point, there's a gap between the welds on the roof skins so water that gets trapped in there can come out.

I find when sunroof leaks though, it comes out everywhere at the sides. The location of your drips suggests to me something is getting between the roof skins.

BTW fix this as soon as you can because it'll cause corrosion on your fusebox (under drivers dash area) and on your ECU's / wiring (passenger footwell), in addition to the obvious floor rust issues over time.

Right after I installed a new headliner mine started leaking there. (Of course it couldn’t happen right before…)I don’t have sunroofs so it’s pretty easy to rule that out. I am pretty sure it is the roof rail attachments.

Grab the roof rails and see if they're secure. My driver side is loose and rattling on bumps. It's gotten loose from ME grabbing it to pull myself up (to clean the roof at car washes). It still seems to seal water out at the wash, but in AZ it only rains 2 weeks out of the year.

Dumb question. What is a front roof rail? And where does it attach? Also how do I check if the skins are leaking?

I had the same leak. It was my windshield. You do not have to replace it to seal it up. My local guy was able to fix it from the inside, and from behind the rubber finishing trim outside. I knew it was my windshield because I don’t have sunroofs or roof rails any longer.
