Left blinker doing funky stuff

My 02 DII has developed a problem over the weekend, the right blinker works fine, the left bliker on the other hand when turned on will make all the dash lights blink with it and will also make the left daytime driving blink and all the parking lights will blink as well.

I have gone through all the lights and all are OK with no corosion in the connector, I have swapped the blinker relay with no luck and I will continue to look for shafing I guess. Feels to me like a bad ground or something but I am only a weekend mechanic.

Is there something I am missing ?

Thanks for your input !

Did you take the cover off the steering column and check the connection going into the head lamp/signal switch? Sometimes the connection gets loose and it does all kinds of wonky stuff. Mine would cut the dash/park lights out whenever I turned the left blinker on. When I checked the connection I noticed it was kinda loose so I reseated it and haven't had any problems since.

if you haven't already, be sure and also check the ground contacts on the bulb housing to make sure they're making a good connection with the body.

Still looking ...

Yvan, I have taken apart the steering column and the switch and plug are checked and still no luck.

And for those interested, my Power Bliker Fluid is full to the rim with DOT 7 . ;)

I am continuing to check for a bad bround or shafing but if any of you have an idea, let me know.

Thanks
