Anyone know what is involved in licensing an older (1970) vehicle in NJ that has a lost registration?
I know when I built my 62 Rover and didnt have a registration, all I had to do in NY was take a pencil rubbing (or printed out pic) of the VIN plate and a bill of sale to the DMV and they issued me a new registration on the spot.
Also, what year did NJ start using titles? In NY I think it was 1974, but not sure about NJ.
