Christian, well done ;)

Craig, where the hell do you get the poly bushings?? I've called Bilstein and they just referred me to a new heim. I checked my rear Blings and both of the bottom heims are gone. :(

Ben,

Yeah, the rears are what go. I just replaced all 8 heims with poly and the top heim was in good shape on all four corners (although I did replace the rear tops when I did the rear bottoms 9 months ago). The Disco now not only is rattle free, but rides smooth like a "proper" Rover again. :)

You can get the Poly bushings from eShocks. (800) 303-6211 ask for Paul as he is their Bilstein sales guy. The part you want is the Prothane 19-919 is the kit for a 1/2" bolt (Well, I retapped for 1/2" bolts when I put my RTE lift in, so this is what works for me).

Hey Baz,

Can I see a side profile with the Lovells?

Thanks buddy!

This is with 245/75/16s and before i cut the rear quarters, they a custom order to suit touring with a load, but they still work & articulate well when playing offroad:D

Baz.

Sorry for the driveway shots...just finished the RTE 3" from my RTE 2". Best lift for the DII hands down. My advice...if you are even considering doing the 3" at some point...skip the 2" and go straight to the 3". BUT do it right with adjustable panhard rod, radius arms, WATTS, 285s or 255s, 4.11 gears, and Bilsteins 7100s. Truck is transformed from the 2" in a very good way. As always RoverTym stuff is flawless and a great value.

Well, this was mine until a couple months ago when I gave it to my mom to use for travel and camping. It is more "internally" set up than external trail mods but it does at least have a medium duty 2" OME spring & shock kit. I decided she would get the best handling out of the Michelin xpc tires so that was left as is. The springs and shocks actually improve the responsiveness in steering though too, more sporty rather than too soft cornering.

She loves it and I do miss it.

I am thinking about hte chop top idea for my 96 disco though, or at least a zebra paint job. It may become the real trail beater now.
