I am currently doing an 88 to coils, don't do it. I can post some pics if you want. building an 88 with V8 Auto from a range rover on a D90 Frame.

Ahh lightweights...I used to race those in some FIBUA areas back in the UK they had the V8 's in em and were a helluva lotta fun...a coil swap would be a pain I'm sure but they are cool rovers...probably some of the coolest

Limey did you shoe horn the v 8 in the lightweight your self? how tight is it?

No they were as issue back when I served in the UK forces
That being said it shouldnt be a big hassle to drop a v8 into a 2.25 motor bay...
