Regarding visibility...are you short torso'd? To be 6'-2 and not able to see over the seats, you've got me scratching my head....unless you are talking about the 3rd row? Fold 'em down where they belong and enjoy the magnificantly designed tailgate for rear visiablity when reversing.

Max and RRBailey made comments about poor visability out the back of the vehicle. I am in a loaner LR3 at the moment that is an SE (two trim levels above my Basic package), and was surprised to learn that the middle seats are very different from my Base model to the SE. The SE (and presumably the HSE) have tall headrests that do not telescope down over the seat. So they permanently stick up into your view.

So now I know what you guys are talking about, and yeah, it's less than ideal. Wonder why they changed the design from one trim level to another. The whole seat is different in how it operates too, but not in shape or confirguration other than the headrests.

Yep I had the HSE and the SE as loaner cars, and you can't see shit out the back with the seats up. After the first experience the LR3 has grown on me. It is still not my kind of truck, but I respect it's capabilities, and like to drive it ow and then. I still hate all the traction control, I am into the 4wd thing just as a hobby, and as such am looking for a challenge, I would rather be fighting to get up a hill in my unlocked D1 than rolling up it in an LR3, and they really do go up and down things without any trouble, but I like the trouble. Plus a Rover is just no damn good untill it is over 5 years old and starts rattling and sqweeking anyhow.
