Local glass company is having trouble getting a RRC windscreen - anyone have one!?

Looking for a good to great condition RRC windscreen. 1993. Heated preferred but not picky.

Trying to get the TDI truck together for Winter Romp and the local glass places are striking out for a new one! Uh oh!

Anyone have one they can SAFELY ship me ASAP?

Doug, I thought it was only the '95 RRC windshield that was NLA.

You're saying the 93 is NLA too? DAMN....I am going to need one for my '93 LWB too!

Robbers North lists a '95 but no early ones. So I don't know.

They are having troubles and even called the dealer in southern Maine who said "no way".

I'm calling them back soon to verify. Insurance deal so I am SURE it's not that expensive if cash deal.

1995 is a different windshield due to the vehicle having air bags and a different dash.

I have a 1993 heated genuine windshield available. Come on down to sunny Arizona!

Drove it home just now.

So if I can get he TDI sorted by the end of the week I will toss this screen in - otherwise I will just drive this beater for the weekend at romp. I love beaters.... It even came complete with 11 months left on the inspection sticker! Sweet!

Insurance has found a proper heated screen - it's ordered and I will driving the beater at Romp this weekend. Already have her sold to a good friend once the TDI is on the road... Unless I destroy the beater at Winter Romp. Ha ha
