Gentlemen, I am not new to Disco Web but it's been awhile since I've been in here. I have owned a 1989 RRC, 1999 Disco II, and 1999 bosch P38. In that order. With the help and advice of you D-Webbers, I was able to keep them all going for a very long time. Well, I was foolish enough to buy a bone stock 1998 Discovery. It was sort of a "barn find" as it only has 36000 miles on it. That's right, its 36 followed by three zeros. It had two owners, first one bought new and sold it in 2013 with 25000 miles. Second owner put 11000 miles on it the two years he owned it (carfax verified). It still has the original 235/70R16 Michelin 4X4 XPCs. A little dry rotted but still has tread. So, other than fluid changes and general maintenance, what should I look at as far as preventative care or to head off any inherited problems of this breed?
