I have been in a couple of situations that required the winch, which I'm pretty sure I could have gotten out of had I had lockers installed. It's definatley on my list of to do items since it won't make a visual impact on the vehicle. (I don't want to change anything on the exterior of the vehicle due to it being one of only 8 made, so I'll concentrate on improvements that are not readily visible).

I have so far installed seat heaters, a heated windshield, k&n filter, and a pioneer avic n3 nav unit with xm nav traffic & iPod interface to replace the pos garmin unit that came with the truck. Next up is a synthetic winche line with poly rollers, and a borla exhaust.

ok... before we all start rolling our eyes, the vehicles that went on the expedition had k&n filters in them. When I got mine, it didn't. So I wanted a k&n filter. I realize I'm not in Austrailia combatting "bull dust", and my vehicle will probably never see the kind of dust that made the expedition team put k&n filters in their trucks, but as long as it's not over oiled, it can't do any harm, and if I realize even 1 mpg difference in fuel costs, so much the better.

it's my understaning the longitude trucks were registered 2003 but were actually 2004 with CDL and round roof bars? yes or am i high?

nope, all 8 are '03, sadly without CDL. I plan on adding CDL when I get a chance.

Adding CDL is a pretty expensive deal. I've considered it, but can't get any of my non-off-roading clients to swap with me!
