Anyone have a good, printable source for a complete list of OBDII codes for the Disco 1. I've just done a search online and here and I'm not seeing it anywhere.
Failing that, can anyone tell me what a P1179 code is? Just bought this '98 LE with 137500k on it. Came with the CEL on, and I know there's one O2 sensor just hanging there, but I don't know if that is the issue.

Thanks!

Bill

Land Rover addiction is stronger than nicotine. I gave that up 30 years ago. But the Rover dry spell only lasted 5 years.

in the google drive linked in my signature you will find a sub folder for the D1. In that folder there is a document "gems_obd". All the codes and the logic behind them are in that document.

"Long term fuel trim too rich, banks 1&2 (AMFR) P1179" - I'd first check for vacuum leaks on the intake side on every hose (large and small) into the plenum.

Next I'd check the Intake Air Temp.

Invest in an OBD dongle and one of the apps that will run on your phone. It'll be the best $30 you ever spend.

Walt, one of your links is old, and has been bought up by some hacking site. Chrome got infected and I had to do a factory reset on my PC.
