Hello! Anyone out there have any recommendations for fog lights that work for a 2019 LR Discovery SE. We bought it pre-owned, and it did NOT have them installed from factory and the dealership says NO WAY can you just buy and install OEM LR parts and install, so we'd still like to have fog lights--when you live on the Florida coast, it gets pretty soupy out there and fog lights are a must. Thanks!

It has been done, although maybe not with OEM parts. Here's proof. This vehicle was prepped by Lucky 8 LLC so they have experience with wiring aftermarket lights to a current model Discovery.

I think what the dealer meant was that if you buy and install OEM LR fog lights, there will be missing pieces of wiring and/or switches to enable them.
I'd buy factory fog lights and wire them to a custom switch.

Before fog lights became a regular option by manufacturers companies like Hella offered complete kits to add them on your vehicle. Then manufacturers saw the demand and started to incorporate them as options. Fitting aftermarket lights whether fog or pencil beam driving has been done by car enthusiasts for decades. Tugela mentioned Lucky 8 as an example doing it on late model Rovers. Feel sure you should be able to find shop in your area to do the same.
Personally I like Hella lights. Switch to turn them on is an OEM LR Rangie switch in the factory position. Wiring, etc. done by the shop that installed the lights.1730162865055.jpeg

Thanks! That is what I was I thought the service manager was explaining... I actually bought the right and left OEM fog lights from LR, but, as usual, the lights came without the mounting hardware, and no wiring at all. There was a custom shop here in Pensacola where I had some custom lights put on my RAM, but they're closed--another business done in by COVID... I even was trying to locate the turn signal replacement with the fog light control on it, but I would still need the mounting hardware and the wiring... it's my wife's vehicle, and she doesn't want her SUV looking like an off-road ride.

Look around the junkyards. Also, ping Will Tillery - maybe he already has D5s in his collection.
