OK.. installed a rebuilt transmission in a 95 D1. Put the transfer case in low and I have the Beep as if its not fully engaged, though it is in both CDL LOCK and Open LOCK. The linkage is correctly adjusted and I am suspecting a wiring issue on the transfer case. Any thoughts??

Adjusted correct??

I knew that would be the element of doubt. I have readjusted the hi/lo linkage and I am fully engaged in both CDL lock and Open. In the past the beep would actuate when I am changing the gearing as when its not engaged.
Again, I am suspecting a plug or something simple.

Eddie, my 95 did the same thing. The CDL could be engaged or not, and the lock was working fine, but the damn beep would stay on all the time. The real fix is to replace the MFU, that on a 95 is behind the fuse block. Regent St. might have one used if you check. My solution was to ripe the damn beeper thing off the relay block, so no more beep. :D Problem is it soldered on not a plug in.

Want to buy my 95 as spare parts truck? ;) I'm starting to think Ho's right with the buy a 04 idea. I just wish it was a 04 D1, not the deuce.

There is an individual trying to sell me his truck, at this point, I am working ok... I was considering parting out the Gold Rover, but shit.. I have replaced everything on it...

Well if you part out your gold rover give me a shout, I might need to spare parts . Unless you want a nice red one ;)

Unfortuntly I'm poor so I have to stick with mine, break downs and all :( Maybe I should get a second rover, so when mine breaks down I'll have a second to drive while the other one is broken ... better yet I'll just get a bunch of d1's put them in my front yard as spares for parts, I'll bet my neighbors will like that!
