driving home last week coming up a hill with some load I notice this gurgling sound coming from the truck. it is consistent with the rpm, almost sounds like an exhaust type leak but I cannot find any traces of an exhaust leak.

i was thinking exhaust because coincidentally this started after the storm last week, I drove through some high water a few times, thinking the cold water cracked my hot pipes or something. it has been really cold here recently so the temp changes also make me think something is up.

does not go away.

Havent checked tcase fluids, I assume if that was dry it would whine and not gurgle or chug.

anything else? the turd is going in for a head job in two weeks, probably needs to go to the wrecker instead. I believe every orifice which can leak, is leaking.

You need to add coolant if you can hear gurgling in the dash. The sound you are hearing is the coolant going through your heater core which also has air in it from being low.

it is something else. If I have the truck in park and rev the engine you dont have this noise. When in any gear and you rev or drive, you get the noise. any other ideas?
