Hello all:
I searched for TPS related problems but I am still searching. Someone suggested it could be a bad TPS sensor.
My Disco II '01 with 75K started doing this first a couple times a month but now is happening almost every time or it goes away and comes back few days later, at first I thought it was because the engine was cold but now is becoming a problem.
When I am at complete stop and I press the gas to take off the RPMs drop and looks like the engine is going to stall. I don't have bad idling or hesitation at a stop or once the truck is moving, it is only happening when I take off and don't have any service engine light or codes. I even brought it to my LR guy and he drove the truck after the engine was off for a couple hours and guess what? The truck did not do it. He did not check with the Testbook computer. I don't want to get stuck in the middle of nowhere.
As always your help is greatly appreciated
