I have a 2001 DiscoII I had a slight vibration in the front end so I decided to rebuild the driveshaft... It needed it... So it had all new u-joints and a new centering ball... I re installed it after te rebuild... It was fine for a few days then it started to make this clicking sound that was rather loud then smoothed out to nothing as I accelerated... Just took it off today found some binding in the double cardon part of it... took it to rocky mountian drive line they replaced the centering ball on it... get home and re install it frive for about 2 miles no prolem thought I heard something at about mile 3 then at mile 4 it started doing the clicking again...
I drained and replaced the front diff fluid almost 3 months ago no shavings or chunks and no noise untill now...
Any ideas????????
I NEED THE HELP TO FIGURE THIS OUT ASAP... THE NATIONAL RALLY IS THIS NEXT WEEK AND I HAVE TO GO!!!! I AM THE COORDINATOR...
